Wish the cord was like 10 ft, but other than that. These just work well. It's under my eves and still works dusk to dawn just fine. Nice and bright.

Feb 2024 -- Still working like a champ. It gets rained on, icicles on it, 105 degrees last Fall, and this thing is a dynamo!Aug 17, 2021-- STILL GOING STRONG!!! So glad I got this light. It is a great addition to my world and proved itself to be quite dependable. I edited to give 5 stars. I love that each light panel adjusts, without having to take the whole thing down to do so. I love that it works autonomously and I never have to think about it. I don't know how long this thing will last, but I am considering purchasing a backup to stick up in the closet just in case. If I end up not needing to use it myself, I think it would make a very practical choice for an apartment warming gift, etc. I'm sure this would be excellent to light up a balcony or little patio area. **********************I hung this on the outside of the porch, above the steps to my apt. to help illuminate foot traffic outside my front door and also to better see down my steps. I have one of those little jelly jar porch lights inside the porch next to the door, but it never allowed me to see very far.When I first took it out of the box I was surprised by how lightweight it was. I plugged it in, no light, so I put the cap from the screw packet over the day/night sensor and when it came on, I was seeing spots for a few minutes, lol. To make it easier for me to hang, I traced the base of it onto paper and taped it various places until I was happy and then I drilled my pilot holes. I removed the paper, held up the light to the spot, lined up the holes, and screwed the screws in. Plugged the light into a socket adapter I put in the jelly jar light and I was in business. The fact that each light moves a little was also helpful in making sure it was not a nuisance to folks driving or gets hit by the opening door.It has been steadily working for about 3 weeks now, and has been rained on every single day, and so far comes on at dark, goes off at dawn, also draws very little electricity. I no longer fear or try to hurry to get home before dusk. When I come home, I can see clearly where the deck and steps are right up to my place and also if there are any people lurking about when I am inside and look out.Several people who walk passed regularly on their way to work and to back to their cars parked on my street have asked where I got it and even thanked me for lighting up their way because they now feel safer, too.I gave it 4 stars because it is too new. I will update this in future and change stars accordingly when I can see its longevity better.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: From just the appearance, this light looks cheap and tiny ... would be good on a Barbie dream house, perhaps. So, what's bad ... cheap plastic, no mounting bracket, awkward to hang because of light being in the way of the screw hole, says for outside and all weather use but the cord is not heavy duty and NOT grounded/3 prong plug. Now, what's good ... the price is reasonable and testing it before hanging the lights seem ok brightness.UPDATED REVIEW (after using twice in the middle of the night in total darkness in my rural location.)They are BRIGHT! I recently got a new 5 month old puppy and he loves to explore while being potty trained at all hours. I have a solar light in the front and back of my tiny house yard and am using these new lights on each side (70 x15 ft on the right side light #1 and same coverage with light #2 on the left side. These lights blow my solar lights out of the water with bright, pleasing cool white light. So, even though I do think they look like cheap plastic ... because of the low price for a set of 2 and the fact thst they cover a large area with really bright light ... changing my initial 2 star review to 4 stars. (A tip ... I covered the lense with the provided cap and purchased a remote adapter that they plug into. So, I'm using them as on demand when I want light by clicking on or off on the remote.

This is a good product. I bought 4 of these security lights in October 2022 they all turn on and off at about the same time every day. Easy to install and reliable after 2 years.

This worked for about 2 weeks. I mounted it to my gazebo post and I ran an extension cord to a remote switch so I can turn it on when I need it. I put the photo cell cover over the eye. Turns on no problem during the day! (Which I don't need!) But when it's dark, it won't work! Would NOT recommend this piece of crap! 👎

This a plug and play unit that needs no wiring and no setup that does not need sun to run it. Perfect!Purchased it to deter various wildlife as they somehow knew how to evade the motion sensor lights while digging up my yard.Would have been 5 stars but I was expecting it to be a bit brighter.
