Poly-Fil Hi-Loft 100% bonded polyester quilt batting is appropriate for machine quilting, whole cloth, Hawaiian, duvets, and comforters or making tied quilts. The higher loft creates a fluffy plush look and feel while providing warmth without the weight. It is perfect for projects where you want a lot of definition and texture. It also works great for upholstery, home décor, school projects and holiday decorations. It will not beard, is easy to needle, hypo-allergenic and washable after quilting. You can create a quick and easy whole cloth quilt by choosing fabric with a larger print and quilt along the edges of the pattern on the fabric for a deep dimensional plush look in no time.

I should have ordered the low loft style. This is making a very heavy quilt that difficult to sew

This will not disappoint if you are looking for extra fluffy batting for a hand-tied quilt. Sometimes they are just better to crawl under, and kids (and their grandpas) love them. My other quilts are beautiful, but they machine-quilted, thinner, and don't have this kind of snuggle factor. I will order again.

Used it in a tied quilt and it worked great. Made the quilt not too heavy, but gave nice volume.

this worked out great for the quilt I made for myself. the material is very soft and easy to work with. the thickness is just right . it will keep you warm at night. I'm impressed with how thin it looks and how warm it keeps you. this was a good buy. I need to order two next time.

I used this batting for a blanket I made. My disappointment was that on both of them, there were irregularities that made it look like a seam running the length of the batting. So right there in the middle of the blanket you could see the slight elevation in the fabric from that seam. I didn't return it, I used it - because they were Christmas presents and the shipping in December would have made it impossible to get another in time.
