My house is in a dark area with no street lights. This dummy camera looks the real thing. I have it hung on my garage. I also have other real cameras, so anyone lurking around will be caught one way or another. I think it worth purchasing.

Have used Honeywell decoy cameras in the past that look quite similar, but those cost about $15/ea, and they also rotate. These do not rotate, so the decoy camera and blinking light are in fixed position. The red LED blinking light is pretty bright and fairly fast tempo, so will definitely get the attention of those approaching at night or in low light. An economical alternative and/or addition to a regular security system. Uses two AA batteries.
