I bought this set of picnic table/seat covers almost on a lark in preparation for camping with friends in upstate New York Stony Brook State Park.So glad I did! You know how when you go camping and there’s a convenient picnic table there for your use, but it’s all raw wood which you can’t really clean. You have no idea what previous campers might have done or left on that table that can’t be washed off.There’s probably bird and squirrel droppings, even if you can’t quite see them. And a lot of times the surface is so rough that you’re likely to get a splinter if you’re not careful, right?!This completely took care of those problems! I felt so much more comfortable preparing food and eating over this! Chopping up vegetables to cook, I wasn’t worried when some of the vegetables slid off the cutting board onto the now covered table.This functions exactly as I had hoped. The fabric seems quite sturdy enough, not waterproof, but definitely water resistant. I spilled some coffee and was able to quickly wipe it up without it soaking in. If your seats are soaking wet, it will probably let some of the wet through but if just damp, you’re good!Also, this design and color are just cute! Other campers who just happened to stop by our campsite all remarked on what a brilliant idea these covers are an asked where they could buy some.This particular picnic table is a little shorter than a lot of the ones at campgrounds, but with the elastic, I was able to pull it smooth with some excess tucked underneath, and it was perfect.Tip: when you’re packing up, rather than trying to fold this, with all the elastic I found it easiest to lay the seat covers upside down on the table with one inside the other and then roll it up. I then folded the table top portion in thirds lengthwise and using the rolled up seat covers, rolled up the tablecloth. I secured it with a small bungee cord, nice and neat for storage. Great value! I would buy again.

The water resistant is amazing. But the only thing, it’s a little to big for my picnic table. Still does the job.

I tried to return 17 of these covers. They were nice but didn’t fit. Tried the Amazon return only would allow one. After two chats finally received my QR code. Still haven’t heard about my credit

Ok... most picnic tables are dirty at best. This well provide you a clean picnic table and benches. Good fit, easy to wipe clean.

So far I bought three picnic table covers similar to this one and love, love, love them--better all around for sitting, eating, washing, enjoying the beautiful weather without the possibility of splinters from wood. ;-).
