Works great! I use a number of batteries to power the camera and other devices while taking pictures to build time lapses. Having all those batteries close to the camera helps remove clutter, not have to use longer cables, and weigh the tripod down for stability

The only drawback is that I personally would like it better if it was neoprene because I use it to hold my phone and water bottle on my tripod while filming youth club sports.

Tripods are great. The problem -- especially outdoors -- is where to put small accessories.Having this collapsible shelf under the tripod lets you put the lens cap, extra memory cards, a bottle of water, or whatever, within reach, and off the ground.Very handy. Stays on the tripod even when folded. Always ready. Lightweight, durable, Velcro attachment straps.

Bought three of these for an overseas trip and half way through the stitching on one leg completely separated rendering it useless. Sure, it could have been re-stitched by taking to a professional tailor, but at the cost I just binned it. Oh well, the other two are currently holding up but I need a replacement and it shan't be this brand..

I'm not a fan of it strictly using velcro to attache to my tripod but I won't knock it down for it. It has served me well so dar with no issues. I use mine to hold a small power bank during my astrophotography sessions and it has been super helpful.
