I've used this for the last few days and am most pleased with it. To put this in context, I have two others of similar in design. The first I obtained almost 15 years ago; it is rubber covered brass and performs as well today as when I first got it. It is probably the original adaptation for home use, and presently cost over a hundred dollars. The second is a clone of the first, though with an aluminum body instead of brass. It cost a third of the original, and performs half as well, but reliably so for almost half a decade. Considering its performance and reliability, it is the second best nozzle I own, and has outlasted a half dozen pistol grip and wand nozzles. The present one I purchased to go on a third outdoor water hookup. It appears to rank midway between the other two. Internals and body are chrome covered copper and brass. Between the quality housing and the rubber armor, this should last a long time. Pattern of the water flow is easily adjusted over a wide range and allows for a tight pattern that projects a long way, or a radial pattern best suited for close up wateringThe biggest drawback to this design, when used alone, is that to close off the flow at the outlet end, you must close down the entire nozzle. Hence you must leave your desired adjustment, and readjust again the next time you start up. The work around for this is to add an on off valve just before the nozzle. This allows you to turn the water on or off while maintaining your preferred pattern and strength. It also allows you to control the volume of flow in combination with the nozzle. It’s a minor added expense that greatly increases the utility of the nozzle. Had it been included, this would be a 5 star device.the stick out most. First, it is tough as heck. The rubber around the top is a fantastic idea. You really can throw it down without fear that it will turn on. Second the sheer volume of water this thing flows is the difference in this real nozzle. It moves all the suds off the car so much faster and better then any other nozzle I've ever used. I read a review that said when you get tired of all the cheap nozzles you'll finally spend a little extra on this one, well I'm not looking back. This is money well spent period. Quality piece, enough said.

This fireman-style hose nozzle is made from heavy-duty materials. It will last far longer than most trigger-style hose nozzles, and is inherently more reliable because it's less complicated.Using it is simple: you just rotate the nozzle output to adjust the power of the stream from off to full-power. The rubber grip coating makes this easy, even when your hands are wet.The standard garden-hose connector is cast into the main metal casing, rather than being a separate part, so that is one less joint to fail.I've used this style of nozzle before, and they generally last a very long time. This one looks to be just as good and is considerably more affordable, so I recommend it.As with all hoses and nozzles, don't leave them full of water out in the freezing cold, because that will cause them to crack and fail - make sure to drain them first, and if possible protect them somewhat from the winter elements. Otherwise, this nozzle will give many years of good service.

I recently purchased the FANHAO Fireman Style Garden Hose Nozzle, and I have to say, it's a game-changer for my garden and cleaning needs. The heavy-duty fire water nozzle is built with a robust metal core and a durable rubber coating, making it perfect for rough outdoor use. It fits standard 3/4" garden hose threads without needing an adaptor, which is a big plus for me.The nozzle's soft and comfortable grip makes it easy to hold and adjust the water pressure. I've had similar nozzles in the past that lasted well, and this one looks like it will, too. The quality and build are impressive, with premium chromium-plated copper, steel, and brass materials.Using the nozzle is a breeze compared to solid metal ones. The forward grip allows for effortless adjustment of spray patterns, ranging from a light mist to a powerful jet stream and a gentle fan of water. These adjustable settings provide excellent water pressure for various tasks, such as washing my car, watering the garden, cleaning the porch, walkway, windows, driveway, and even washing my pets.Overall, I find the FANHAO Fireman Style Garden Hose Nozzle to be a fantastic product. My only minor gripe is the price of $24.99, which seems a bit steep compared to solid brass nozzles available at a lower cost. However, the quality and convenience it offers make it worth the investment.

This is my second fireman-style hose nozzle. The first I purchased on Amazon about 8 years ago, and it has held up extremely well. This one appears equally well constructed, and I just compared the flow rates and general spray pattern between the 2, and I really can't tell any difference. Gladly buy another one.PROS: feels like a quality product. Works well. Listing ACCURATELY represents the product.CONS: noneBOTTOM LINE: Heavy, well-constructed nozzle. Should last a lifetime.

I've bought similar Bon-Aire hose nozzles in the past and have been very happy with this style. This one feels well made. It's heavy and has a thick rubber coating/grip and seems like it will handle some abuse, i.e. being dropped on the ground regularly. The full jet stream has as good a distance and pressure as you can expect with any garden hose nozzle but the lower settings are less defined and useful. The biggest downside for me is that the other model allowed you to turn it off by twisting far enough in either direction and this one remains at a low spray on the far end of the twist and must be twisted all the way back, through the full stream, to the starting point, to turn it off completely. That makes a difference when you're trying to shut the hose off quickly.
