I did know that it was only lit on two sides but still wish it was all four. It does work with my dice so I can admire them under the black light, however as another review stated it is hard to see the die numbers under low light. Once I moved the tray to better light some of the "sparkle" was no longer visible but since this is the only black light tray I have found available, I am happy. The snaps worked well and the battery pack is thin and unobtrusive and also has an on/off switch. On the inside of the tray the button is small and blends in well once the tray is set up. I'll be showing my friends to see if they would like to order one for their dice.

This is a really neat product that thankfully uses standard CR2032 batteries and doesn't require a cable. The only disappointment was I'd seen this at a convention but couldn't snag it at the time but this specific one on Amazon only has lights on half of the tray.

The main issue with the tray is that the lights are at the midpoint of the tray sides and a such do not shine any light on the top of dice rolled in the tray. So the sides of the dice will light up, but not the top. It's even worse when used in low-light, which I would believe is most people's main draw to using this.Additionally, as other reviewers have stated, the photos are a bit misleading as there are only LEDs on two sides. The battery and control module are relatively thin and outside the tray. The button to turn on the lights is inside the tray and is on a timer; this may be nice to save battery, but seems annoying to have to keep turning back on during a session.Ultimately this just wasn't functional for what I wanted, which was to illuminate neon/glow dice. I returned the item.

The black light feature would have been so cool if the black light wasn’t super weak. It barely even made the die it came with glow. Super underwhelming.

Didn't work right out of the box. Still a okay dice tray but the lights never worked.
