-Rugged-Bright, long range-Self leveling or locked functions-Tripod, magnetic or screw hole mounting-CHEAPSo far I have bought this laser level (for laying down aisle lines in a warehouse, wall hangings and more) and an electric screwdriver (mostly for disassembling PC's and laptops) from this brand and I am very impressed so far.I would be compelled to buy more from this company if they had another tool I might be looking for in the future. The price to quality ratio is fantastic!Highly recommend.

Works so well. I attached it to a tripod and it allowed me to hang some pictures on the wall

Worked perfect. I have a camera tripod we used and was perfect. Hanging art on a black wall had to be level. Easy peasy with this gadget. Can’t wait to use it on more projects.

Seems to be a good product. HOWEVER, the instruction manual is absolutely atrocious. Obviously translated from someone who had (at best) 1 semester of junior high school English. So you'll be spending some time figuring it out for yourself, because the manual is totally useless!!!!Postscript 1 week after entering these comments: The reseller of the unit read these comments and made sincere efforts to ensure I was satisfied with the purchase. Reseller was willing to help with any confusion I had with my lack of understanding of the manual due to its broken language. They responded quickly.

I recently got my hands on this new laser level for a few DIY projects around the house, and wow, it has made a huge difference. What I love most about it is the digital display that tells me exactly how much battery I have left. This feature is a game-changer because I can easily see if I need to recharge before starting a project, keeping me from having to stop midway through. The green laser on this device is incredibly bright. I've used red lasers before, and they don't even compare, especially when working outdoors. It's so precise too; I've been getting my lines straight and accurate without any hassle. The fact that it's shockproof and waterproof is a bonus, as I'm not the most careful person, and I've dropped it a couple of times already with no issues.Battery life is another big win. It lasts all day on a single charge, which is perfect for my weekend projects. Plus, it's rechargeable, so I'm not constantly buying batteries.Using it is super simple. It self-levels, which saves me a ton of time trying to get things just right. And if I need to, I can switch it to manual mode and lock the laser in place for any angle I need.Overall, this laser level has been a fantastic addition to my toolkit. It's not just efficient and powerful; it's also made my DIY tasks a lot easier and more enjoyable. Whether I'm hanging pictures or working on more complex projects, it's my go-to tool now.

Building an entertainment center / storage unit for with my son for his house - a big, open concept style house. Their design will put a nearly 14" unit along one wall. Picked this up to help ensure that we get it right - level and straight from the get go.The laser nicely mounts onto our old video camera's adjustable tripod, and casts a beautifully bright green / large set of level lines. No more "does this look straight" comments of the past. And honestly, with an accuracy of "3/32-inch at a distance of 30ft" ... it's more accurate than virtually everything I've ever done.Self-leveling feature is really nice, as I will never forget when a few years back we built a vinyl record storage unit in the garage - not taking into account the slight slope of the garage floor, hence all of the drawer slides would pull open slightly when we moved it on to flat surface. Level isn't suppose to be relative to where it was built.I wish I had this when I was redoing a cement block retaining wall last year, would have saved a lot of time and number adjustments during that effort - do to having only a 4ft level as reference point. The level is simple to use for what I need, but it should help us greatly during the build process. We should at consistently least - which will free up some time / effort that we can hopefully apply to improving our accuracy - with our measurements / cuts / joinery.

I've always wanted one of these, and finally picked this up. It was a tool that I thought would be handy, but wasn't sure that it was a necessity, so I kept putting it off. But now that I have it, I'm finding more and more uses for it. I'm working on finishing my garage after it being restored from some water damage, hanging shelves, stapling the wiring, remounting conduit for a generator jack outside. It's so much easier to use this than juggle a level or measuring tape (to insure a straight line) with the tools and fasteners. I wasn't sure how I was going to mount the conduit and wires in straight lines perpendicular or parallel to the corners. Diagonal or wavy lines would have really bothered me.It is pretty simple to use, you switch it on, and as others have mentioned, need to get it pretty level for the self-leveling function to work. Or you can use it in manual mode, and point it wherever you want to display a straight line or even both of them. It's very bright, I could clearly and easily see it in daylight. You can select via the button the horizontal line alone, vertical line alone, or both. The display at the top shows the remaining battery life which is very handy. My only criticism is the lock/unlock button, which feels a little sloppy/loose to me. It works of course, but has a little too much play in it for my taste. I thought about knocking a star off for that, but since it didn't affect its functionality, left it at 5 stars.
