I was surprised that NO glass was shattered, broken or cracked when my husband unboxed it. It came together beautifully and he loves it! The lights that it came with made it worth it because it really brings his collection to life!! Definitely worth the money!

I was worried the item would be in pieces because it's 90% glass; however, because the employees who handled my package and packed it up were extra careful, it arrived in perfect condition. The instructions recommend having 2 people to put it together, but I was able to do it by myself. Love the look of it and I'm excited to use it!

Last curio cabinet I had could, the door could be mirrored, so if you had two, you could place them side by side and have them open in the middle together. This cabinet cannot be mirrored, since the holes for the hinges and mechanisms are different sizes. I do like the floating support system, the strutless design maximizing the available space inside, but it can be a bit difficult to work with during assembly, since there's always a hesitation with tightening the bolts on glass. The added light system is actually quite robust, with a handful of features, like remote timers and color pickers, I was not anticipating. Last point worth mentioning, the materials aren't exactly what I'd call quality, with coated chipboard serving as the base and top, and though the feet being adjustable is nice, the fact that they're plastic means they're not particularly reliable, getting stuck during adjustments.

The item came to me in pieces, so I refused delivery, and requested a refund or replacement of item. Its been weeks and no a word, no refund no replacement item.
