Your cart is empty.A pressure gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauges' meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. The resistance of the sending units increase or decrease with the changes in pressure, temperature, etc. As the sender's resistance varies, the amount of current allowed to flow through it to ground changes and the meter deflects, showing the change in pressure.

There arent many reviews of what is in the package, I purchased this because I found out my 150hp Evinrude 1993 came with a water pressure guage on the console, My boat is a 1985 Hydrasports. The boat was repowered at some point and the water supply tube was left open in the back of the cowling dumping water, My engine mechanic found it and sealed it off, This guage monitors your water pump pressure so you know when the water pump is about to fail, Its a guage with mounting brackets and a water tube that goes to the back of the engine with a screw in fitting, The guage has terminals so it will light up at night if you add them, Is 2 inches diameter.

NOT DESIGNED FOR THICK AREAS, TRYING TO FIGURE OUT A DIFFERENT WAY TO SECURE ITEMS IN CONSOLE. This has been n console 4 a year and is junk, the ones I replaced had been there since 1978

bought to replace on my boat. out of the pack needle was pegged out and hung on limit pin. needed asap so took apart and fixed myself. will not purchase again
