I brought a 11-12 y/o size for my soon to be 11 year old. The fit is perfect so I would say true to size if your kids are average height and weight. It’s sturdy and thick/warm. Love that the fur detaches. Zipper quality is great.

Warm coat, beautifully made. Pockets are deep. Love the zipper and snaps. DD says she wished the interior was black and not hot pink. The only thing she could say “negative†about the coat.
