I bought this in June 2018 for $14.99 and paid full price (no discounts or freebies). As I review products if the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc. I give this product 5 stars because they work as designed, have no evident flaws, seem to be of high quality and have a very competitive and fair price.I have a 21 foot Sea Doo, seven person boat. I needed a heavy set of wheel chocks for this, and appreciated the thorough reviews others have left.These are heavy duty blocks. They hold the boat in place. They aren't 100% solid, but very nearly so. They are easy to pick up--not slippery, even when wet.As for the smell, they do have a stereotypical "rubber" smell. It does dissipate after a while, but so far hasn't completely gone to zero. Not a bid deal at all,since, they are outside.

I purchased a bunch of these and attached bolt with round eyelet/washers/nuts and connected two with a small rope to use in our cars for changing a tire. This keeps them together and reminds my kids/wife to use one in front and back of the opposite side and front to back of the tire when changing a flat. I think these chocks are smaller than other quality chocks but, perfect size to be effective and heavy duty and VERY effective for stabilizing a wheel to prevent a car from falling off the jack when changing another tire. My kids have used chocks twice when out on the road and needed to change a tire. Great product, excellent quality. They do stink at first so let them air outside for a week or so if needed.

I bought these in order to safely conduct oil changes and other minor car repairs that require me to get under the vehicle - I ended up opting for these over less expensive brands because of the "Heavy Duty Rubber" construction (figured plastic ones would slip on my epoxy-sealed garage floor) - and let me tell you, boy do they work. I forgot to remove them when I was done with my girlfriend's oil change, and when she went to back out of the garage the car wouldn't move. Seriously solid construction, I feel very safe working under my cars with them. I ended up buying 4, as I like to chock the front and back of both wheels on the ground during oil changes - might be overkill, but it might save me some early funeral costs I suppose.The ONLY thing that I dislike about these is that they stink to high hell! I have these stored in my garage within a storage cabinet - my entire garage has a faint rubber smell, and the storage cabinet smells like it's made entirely of rubber. I'm sure this will dissipate over time, but dang do they smell!As long as you store them outside, you cannot go wrong with these. Don't hesitate, just go ahead and get them now.EDIT: After about 2-3 weeks of sitting in my storage cabinet, the strong odors have finally started to dissipate. I thought that this would take longer due to the intense odors, but the scent is barely noticeable now. Great product!!!

Great chocks for my tent trailer. Probably a little small for larger tires on a full size travel trailer. They are perfect for my tent trailer’s 12†wheels. They seem to be sturdy, I forgot to remove one before pulling away and drug it on the asphalt a few feet. The end result was a still-usable chock but with a slightly “shredded†front edge.Minus 1-star for the horrible odor. I wiped the chocks down with gasoline to remove the oil from shipping, left them outside for a week, and they still have a strong rubber odor. Not that it’s that big of deal except for I keep them in my truck toolbox, so I get a whiff every time I open the toolbox.

These wheel chocks are made of solid rubber. They do have a very strong smell when you first take them out of their platic wrap. What I did is I washed them with lots of Dawny soap and let them air outside overnight. The smell was greately diminished immediately I finished washing them. Now they don't smell unless you sniff them upclose. So far they have performed great. They hold to the tires firmly. Although a little bit of the ridges have broken off due to the contact pressure with the tire, but the chocks are still very strong in one piece. One feature that would Improve them is to add "teeth" to the bottom edges for better traction.

It's rubber, it's going to smell. Rated 3/5 just because I was asked. Kept them outside to minimize anything else getting their stank. They were a little smaller width wise than I had to expected, so maybe an issue with bigger tires, but great for what's on my Veloster Turbo. I waited to write this for a few months so I could give an honest review. Smell, which I could care less about, has dissipated over the weeks. They keep the car in place just like they should. Pulled into my garage at one point and accidentally hit one and it stopped the car immediately. Luckily I was going really slow. Overall, great buy for the price. Very good quality and sturdy. If you have larger tires, though, I would not recommend them. I don't feel the smaller size could hold them effectively.

These wheel chocks are for our boat - they work great but smell like an automotive shop. I had to air out and febreeze my car they were so strongly scented of rubber. I washed them and now store them in ziplock bags when they are transported inside the car. No functionality awesome, smell HORRIBLE!

Wheel chocks work as expected. A little smaller than anticipated, but work just fine for my trailer.All these reviews about the smell… yes, they’re stinky out of the box! Unless you’re using them inside, don’t worry about it! I can’t smell them in the driveway
