Someone gave me an old Fire 7 last year, and I've been getting by with whatever micro USB charger I had on hand. I knew they were necessarily fitting right, because of slow charge and the device kept making a ding whenever the connection wasn't complete. But hey, being lazy I got by on that method until one day recently, the Fire tablet wouldn't charge. Well, it's old so I thought perhaps it had reached the end of it's lifespan. For my minimal use on the device which is solitaire and the rare Kindle book, I figured I'd try purchasing an approved charger before going all in on a new Fire tablet, which I will do sooner than later.This charger plugged in an boom, it starts charging right up so indeed it was the charger that was bad, not my trusty old tablet.I love that this is a 2-in-1 charger also because surely if and when I get a new device, it will have the larger port and this will make a good backup charger or - if the tablet does crap out and I don't want to get a new one, I can use the larger charger for another device.It's great when simple things simply work!

I don't know about your household, but in mine, my chargers seem to get swiped often.. So when I tried using another charger for my Kindle the charging slowed down to a trickle ( and I got a message that I had a low output charger ) I had not realized that the chargers for my phones etc was different than my kindle charger. This product solved the problem.. It charges up my Kindle faster than others,, and now I am using it as a dedicated charger just for my tablet.. Life is somehow simpler now.... Can't really comment on its value or durability,, I rarely blow a charger up,, it usually is swiped by the kids,, or lost or forgotten on a trip.. Good Product,, Fair Price,, Quick Fulfillment...

This charger works. I got the right size. The length of the cord works perfect for my comfort.

Fits perfect for my daughters kindle tablet she was gifted. The only thing I don't like is it takes forever to charge. I'm probably spoiled with newer technology that has rapid/fast charging but that's no fault of the manufacturer, its just older technology. Would buy again.

Great charger. Super-fast charging with a lengthy cord. I thought my Kindle was dying, but it turned out to be the original cord that was on its last legs. So glad I bought this!

My dad is on dialysis. I gave him my Fire tablet to watch Netflix while he’s on the machine. Then it suddenly stopped working. We determined it was the charger that quit. I was able to get this one quick and he was able to use the tablet again.

Ability to disconnect the USB-C to change to other USB is very difficult. It sticks. Charger is not very fast.
