My previous travel trailer (a 2012 model) came with a Flip-jack factory installed when I purchased it brand new. This year I upgraded to a new camper that did not have this feature... so I purchased and installed one for myself. That alone tells You everything You need to know about whether I like these or not!The installation was breeze by the way... I will say that no drilling was required for mine as the footpad hole was proper size and alignment. However should Yours need the attachment hole added, I wouldn't expect that to be too difficult with a quality drill and good bits.Finally, I did consider adding an electric jack to my new camper. After reviewing many options, the common theme with all of them seemed to be keeping them covered, protected, maintained, finding power to operate, and the size/inconvenience it creates interfering with the tailgate. Many people discussed having a reasonable service life of roughly 3-4 years, while others mounted theirs sideways to create a work-around for tailgate room. For a small fraction of the price of an electric jack I can connect and disconnect my camper just as quickly with or without 12v power, and all without the hassles or the need to service or replace. Install once and super basic grease maintenance and it's good for years.I enjoy having this simple solution.

The jack foot that came with our trailer had no drain holes and was a rusted mess. I replaced it with this.I sort of think the supposed time savings are a joke; you still have to crank things up and down a lot to secure the foot when stowing, but it's nice not to have to take it off to get full ground clearance when towing.I recommend this as a replacement if you have to replace yours. It's definitely an upgrade.If the company made one from 316 stainless at twice the cost, I would totally buy it though ... ;-)

First, it’s easy to install and use. Pleasantly surprised. However, the lip of the base will scratch the concrete in a dip.

Installation is easy, and it can be completed within less than 30 minutes without any particular tool or skill level. Be mindful to follow instructions. Right positioning of provided spacers is important in order for the part to rest horizontally once raised. It has definitely eased the rigging tasks and the extra length allows for faster ball hitching process. Great product!

I love this addition to me UTV trailer. I hooked up the trailer to me truck, unbolted the old foot plate, bolted this on (carefully following the directions). It took only minutes and I was back in business. When retracted I have not issues with the crank unwinding causing the foot to drop. Once retracted it stays put. When extending the time, and wear on my arms, is greatly reduced plus if I need a little extra height, like when I'm in a soft or muddy field then I have plenty of room to extend. Without it I was looking for a nearby rock.

Purchased this to eliminate the big wood block I usually use. Works great. Just hold it in place as the jack leg is coming down to eliminate the trailer rocking.

I installed this on our travel trailer a couple of years ago, and it has held up quite well. It makes lowering and raising the jack quick and easy and works well. No complaints, and a good investment

Product is high quality. Easy installation. Works like they say. My only issue is that when jack is wound up the flip foot does not come up completely tight, rattles a little.
