A light at the top of our stairs uses a 9" circle flourescent light bulb. This size appears to much less common than 8" or 12". We have two of this style of light in our house so the two-pack gives me one for future use. This was plug and play. Worked right out of the box. It provides a bright and warm light (even though the photo makes it appear cooler, the warm color is very nice). This light ends up staying on for long periods of time and still should last a long time.

This review is for the CHKADAWA FCL30/30K Circular Fluorescent Light Bulbs T9 9 inch 30 Watts, Round FCL30EX-L 27K Circline Light Bulb FC9T9/KBOne of these CHKADAWA FCL30/30K Circular Fluorescent Light Bulbs T9 9 inch 30 Watt I bought worked for about 30 Days before flickering wildly and then dying.From the time I installed it in my ceiling fan, it would intermittently flicker. I should have returned them right away. I would have to turn the light off and play with the controls to get the light to stop flickering.After just a little more than a month, the bulb started flickering wildly and then died.I had no such problems with my previous bulbs.The second bulb in the 2-pack I purchased was dead on arrival. It never worked at all.Either I just happened to receive 2 duds or these bulbs are very poorly made.If you don't want to just throw your money away, buy your CHKADAWA FCL30/30K Circular Fluorescent Light Bulbs somewhere else.

These lights are cheap but get the job done. When installing them they started to separate at the seams where the glass connects with the plug section and I thought they might just break. However, they went in and have been working fine. They are bright and fit fairly well in my lights though they were a bit snug.
