I used them to hold a tarp on metal tubing because the other type kept popping off in a storm and I had to search the yard for them. These have weathered several pretty gusty days and didn't budge. Thick material too.

I loved the way they hold, but they can be blown off. They are somewhat of a problem getting over PVC pipe

Bought to secure bird netting to 1/2 " metal conduit. Works good and holds tight, but a little too tight. Kind of a pain to remove for my needs. I also bought green clips that sorta look like chip bag clips, they are much better for what I needed.
