This is a set of 500 snap strings, meaning you snap the thin side directly into the thicker side. It does not work like the ball bead chains. This one you just push direct into the top and it holds very securely. I ordered this set as I make my own handmade ornaments and needed something easy and secure to hang and display them at events. These are perfect and the colors are great for Christmas. If you have something heavy, like my epoxy resin ornaments, you can add a touch of hot glue to the connection to secure but so far nothing has pulled it apart other than me doing it on purpose. 500 pieces will last more than a couple of years of crafting for me. These could also be used in making keychains or backpack/purse charms. Great price point and very well made product.

Great product! Excellent value and construction. They work great and look so good on my Halloween tree. However, if you want to remove them and place on another ornament they tend to break. Be aware that once you place them on ornaments, they will have to stay. Good thing they came in a large quantity.

These were a great buy for me that I could add more ornaments to my collection for a market. Only issue - blue would be a nice touch. Easy to use and look nicer than keychains.
