it does not say in amazon ad or the actual box - whether these are 2:1 pitch or 3:1 pitch. I need 2:1, so this box of wire spines is useless to me. Amazon should have 3:1 pitch in their ad. Otherwise the quality of the wire is good. Gonna see if I can return these wrong pitch coils.

It wasn't compatible with "most machines" - more online research revealed this is a 3:1 pitch binding (3 holes per inch, or 32 holes per 11 inch standard page). I have a 2:1 pitch binding machine, and this wire did not work.

too small for what I wanted but I should have measured my project from the beginning so my fault. oops
