This works really well, I love that you open it up and place many sheets in the feeder, like a scanner, and it pulls them in one at a time and shreds them really fast!

The shredder does its job. It shreds and does it well. Where this little guy really shines is the convenience of the feeder. Leave 20-50 pages in the feeder and walk away. No more standing there waiting to feed more in. The auto feeder does that for you. Would buy again!

Ok, I just got this shredder. I was looking for a two piece device: 1 for the bin and 1 for the rest. No dice. 3 pieces.The bad: You have to put some effort into setting this up as the top will not just fit on the body. Flexy plastic makes sure of it. The unit threatened to flop over trying to move it without the bin. Also, the bin liked to pop open a few times on its own before I tried shredding (about a half inch, but extremely annoying especially if it’s going to micro cut paper and not toss it all over the place).The good: This thing is quiet, quick and actually not bad. If paper jams, it’ll automatically try and back the paper out. I like that. I put in 3 batches of 100 sheets and I could listen to my TV while it was shredding. It also ate a few old credit cards and was ready for more.The bottom line: I would have given it a better review if the plastic wasn’t so flimsy and the bin would actually stay where it was supposed to be (also if it was two pieces). Calling this “heavy duty†is a stretch. I would have liked it to be more durable. However, it does what it’s supposed to do, and it’s quiet and quick. I didn’t have to do much effort to unjam it, and that’s pretty good. I can see it lasting a while.

Got the Fellows Shredder to replace our bonsaii shredder that didn’t last a year before breaking down.We love the fact that this shredder uses an infrared eye to detect paper instead of the common micro switch in other shredders.We also love the automatic feed tray in the back so that we can place items back there are shredders them all at a later time instead of having to load each piece separately.This shredder has worked great and cuts into small confetti pieces which we bag and use to absorb our waste fry oil for burning or trash.Overall, we highly recommend the Fellows Shredder.

This is a pretty decent shredder for paper use. I use this in a small office which needs to do a lot of shredding. The auto-feed works really well and really fast. I haven't had any jam issues or overheating which I have had a lot with other shredders. The one flaw is that it will not shred file folders. We shred a lot of file folders with our other shredder thankfully, but I did not realize that when I purchased this. It is kind of hidden in the manual that this will not shred file folders. (We haven't tried, obviously we don't want to break the machine), so unfortunately, it may not have the strength/power that is expected of a "Heavy Duty" machine.The bin is a decent size and the doesn't need to be emptied too often which is a plus. But for its price point, I would expect Heavy Duty to actually mean Heavy Duty and unfortunately the value does not match expectation.

This shredder does the job way better than I anticipated. The best part is the feeder at the top. Line up about 20 sheets or so, turn it on, and walk away. That stack is gone in seconds. I have even fed credit cards, old IDs, and card stock pamphlets, and it shredded them thoroughly. Great small office shredder.

I had a problem with this shredder when trying to put together. When loading the shredder top to the paper bin, the bottom, the Bin has 6 tabs that must go into slots on the bottom of the shredder, top. When I tried to put the shredder unit on the Bin, I had trouble lining them up because the bin would move around, and the tabs didn't line up, but 2 tabs got inserted into their slots, but the others did not. So, I had to lift the shredder off to try again; in doing so I could not get the shredder off because the tabs were stuck or locked, and it was difficult to get the shredder off. I don't believe that should happen. Shredders I had before did not have tabs and it was simple to lift the shredder off the bin with no problem. This is the main problem with this shredder, and I was unable to continue because the tabs broke off because they were locked or stuck in slots. I ended up calling customer service which is awful because you to talk to an AI assistant first before you can talk to a human. I finally had a return processed, because I don't believe the tabs were supposed to get stuck so you can't lift the top off. Not happy with this Unit.

Quand je l'ai reçu j'ai trouvé que le réservoir de papier était de qualité moyenne. Mais après utilisation je l'adore !! On peut faire plusieurs feuilles en utilisant le bac. Sauve du temps. S'il y a blocage (ce qui est rare), c'est très facile de retirer le papier. Grand contenant pour la réception du papier déchiqueté. Très bonne qualité pour le prix.

This is a well built reliable paper shredder. We bought it for home use and are very pleased with its operation. The pull out canister saves a lot of mess compared to those that you have to lift the power head off of. The casters are a nice feature for short moves since the unit is reasonably heavy due to its rugged construction.

Fonctionne bien pour un petit volume. Détruit le papier en petit morceau. Un peu plus bruyante que mon ancienne Fellowes, mais tout de même satisfaite

Love the fold out paper tray to do bulk shredding. Really beats feeding it 10 sheets or so at a time!
