91 Chevy S-10 4.3L 262kReplaced thermostat and used this gasket, DRY, between manifold and water outlet housing. Torqued fasteners just to spec and it hasn't leaked a drop. Nicest T gasket I've ever used and although its first-class quality and performance hardly justify the over-the-top cost a couple more thermostat changes could because it's reusable, no sealant scraping required.

These have a no mess ring of sealer [ silicone I think ]built onto a pretty rigid plastic gasket so you dont need to mess with adding your own RTV . They are reusable but I don't know for how long .they may deteriorate over time . I have found that it is a little tricky to get the right amount of RTV in just the right place . So these make gaskets easy .

This qasket is definitely the thickest, best designed thermostat housing gasket I've ever used, it doesn't require any additional gasket compound to create perfect seal in high performance, high pressure applications. They are well worth the cost.
