I purchased this gasket to mount a 2bbl Holley to my 1979 Ford F250 with the 400m engine, but to my surprise when I removed the old carburetor underneath it was the same FEL-PRO 60716 gasket it perfect shape so I reused it and it was still perfect! I ended up using this one on my 1972 F250 with a 360 FE instead and it sealed up perfectly just like the old one. I have had problems in the past with Chinese off brand gaskets not sealing but the FEL-PRO gaskets I have used always seem to work great! If you are looking for a 2bbl carb gasket and want it to actually seal properly then this is what you need!

Worked for my single to double carb. Thick enough to provide better seal for my situation.

I've never seen a gasket as good as this one it's real good material and it's more than a quarter inch thick that's the crazy part looks like it would last you a lifetime it'd be nice if they made all gaskets like this I know it can't be this thick but out of the same material but that will make too much sense

Good quality gasket. But this is about an 1/8th in thick. 3 times that of the stock thin gasket. So the carb will sit slightly higher than stock. You may also need to adjust the height of the stud bolts in order for the nut to grab.

If you change the carb change this. It has plastic crush washers where the bolts or studs pass through to prevent over tightening while the rest of the gaskets squeezes into manifold and carb base. Very pleased.

So, I got this gasket because my paper thin gasket popped finally giving me a lot of horrible issues. It was on its way out as I could hear hissing but at the time I didnt know where it was coming from.Friday after I got off work I tried to start my truck and it would idle. So I had to pop the hood to raise the idle and idle mix richer to even get it to idle at all. So I knew it was the gasket when I got home and felt it sucking my finger on the sides.UPDATE/EDIT: Dont try and remove the gasket. It becomes sticky and will stay on for dear life. Removing it will ruin the gasket. Dont know if that's covered by warranty but should since It doesn't mention not to attempt to remove it. Thats how it makes such a good seal. Its sticks to the carb base.I ordered this gasket not knowing the thickness (I bought it for the shape and it matching the best) and I read it was thicker. When I installed it. I torqed i down and BAM! My vacuum as higher at a leaner idle mix setting and it ran great!1984 Ford Ranger 2.8L V6

Worked great for motorcraft 2150 in my 1982 f150. Replaced the oem gasket after carb rebuild and this fixed the vacuum leak.

You can buy two of these for what one costs at the parts store. A very sturdy gasket that seals well. What else is there to say? I'll definitely be buying more in the future.

I installed this on my 1966 F100 with a 289 dropped in. Installed a brand new Dromedary carb on it and this gasket. It fit right the first time and sealed properly. Good inexpensive gasket.
