The overmolded elastomeric seal on the hard gasket makes very good seal on throttle body especially at the given small torque requirements. Likely a better seal than OEM

The gasket does not fit properly on my subaru 2011 impreza 2.5. After replacing with new gasket, a very loud hissing came from the engine. Engine ran rough and was shaking. I detected a vacuum leak on the throttle body. Good thing I saved the old gasket. I put the old one back on and engine runs right now.

I want to clean the throttle body so I needed a replacement gasket. This one fit perfectly and no problem since installation. Would recommend. Would buy again.

Seemed like a well enough constructed gasket, but is the wrong shape for my 2010 forester. It did not extend far enough to seal the idle circuit, and would have caused the throttle body to have a significant leak, with at least part of the fuel meant to idle the vehicle simply vent to atmosphere. Not sure what it actually fits, but Amazon was wrong on this one. Check your gasket shape carefully.

Subaru outback 2012 2.5 fits exactly. Throttle body is without coolant lines.Much thicker than the factory one. Although it is made of rubber while the factory one is rubberized metal (which all rusted out)
