I’ve had several that have shown up in the VR kit’s. A MLS gasket stands for multi layered steel, however, the video they won’t let me post shows that centerpiece is definitely not steel. I’ve had several sets leak in between the layers of gaskets. Causing me to have to replace the head gaskets prematurely. There’s a reason why they call them failpro

Used these on a 1996 Toyota 5VZ-FE and they sealed up just fine. Please remember these require a much finer surface finish on your heads and block than many machine shops can perform. If your machine shop cannot machine the heads/block to the specified Ra, then your head gasket will leak. Look up finish required for MLS heads before having them machined.
