Saw on some of the Cummins forums that the Felpro head gasket wasn’t up to factory standards. I have used their gaskets for over 40 years and always found them to be the best gaskets you could buy! This is my first time with a diesel (Cummins 5.9). Engine started right up after install. No issues yet and I don’t expect any later. Can’t beat Felpro!

Rebuilt my 5.9 Cummins using this head gasket with arp studds , driving down the highway and it let go putting oil in the coolant . It didn’t last 150 miles not raw dogging it . Very unsatisfying.

But these guys do it while addressing issues overlooked by engineers in making the Cummins. If you want a high quality reasonably priced product this is the gasket for you. Don’t second guess it just do it. Make sure you’re thickness matches the spec given to you by the machine shop and how much they removed when decking your head and where you want your compression ratios. It matters. Look at my other reviews.
