Fits and works as expected. Some suggestions here: 1. Remove the rear cover first, then remove the front cover. Clean both covers well, install the gaskets into the covers with a VERY light layer of RTV on both sides of the gaskets and then slide the ront cover in behind the distributor and secure BEFORE installing the rear cover. Using this sequence allowed us to avoid removing the distributor to accomplish the repair. 2. Check the flanges on the covers to make sure they arent warped/bent. Straighten as needed. (New chrome covers are available on Amazon if needed. Reasonably priced too!) 3. Apply a small amount of RTV to both sides of the cover sealing washers when installing them and wipe away excess. This helps prevent oil seepage around those.

I used this on my 71 C10. A little bit of a hassle installing these because the distributor had to be removed. NO more leaks!

Do not believe what Yahoo states on the website. This item said fit my vehicle which it does no. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it. All future purchases for my old cars i will buy from the auto parts store. I have had to return several items that was supposed to fit but did not
