Purchased this valve cover gasket set for a 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5i because the spark plug tube gaskets were allowing oil to leak into the plug tubes. Gaskets were very good quality and fit perfect. Being able to do the job myself I saved about $300-$350.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Subaru Legacy with the 2.5 liter SOHC non-turbo engine. Had to lift the engine an inch to get the passenger side on but they work well.

The local auto zone sells this same felpro gasket set for triple this price. You get quality and value. This fit without issues and no more leaky valve covers.

I purchased this set to resolve oil seeping into cylinder 1 spark plug due to spark plug seal.This kit comes with everything needed to seal the valve covers - gasket and spark plug seals.On the 2008 forester it is very tight to remove the cover and even tighter reinstalling. I was wiggling the cover into place and the gasket chipped a small piece off making it unusable. Luckily I had the set of two and was able to use the second gasket but I will now have to order the same set to do the other side.They seem to be good quality and fit well. Time will tell for sealing. Will update if anything changes.4 stars only because of the issue during install

I ordered these for a 2008 Subaru Forester to fix a misfire caused by the original gasket leaking oil into the spark plug cavity. The oil is conductive and when it coats the spark plug it causes problems and will eventually leave your car hardly running.They fit perfectly and work as you would expect them to. No leaks. The spark plug cavity seals were a little narrower than what was removed but its very possible that the 8 year old seals were just permanently squished. They still fit fine.The only caveat is choosing the correct ones for your car. I had several different sites, including Fel-Pro, claiming that 2 different sets were the correct ones. They specified no way to choose between the two to get the correct ones even when supplying my VIN number. I ended up picking the one that was suggested the most (probably 60/40) and ended up lucky.Do yourself a favor and order new spark plugs to put in at the same time.

Have replaced only 1 side so far as haven't had time to get to the other side yet, but item came as described and was the correct part for my 2007 Subaru Impreza wagon 2.5i (N/A). So far the one side that I did do seems to be holding without any leaks.Product came decently fast...nothing really bad to say at all.
