These needles work well when used properly. Push in and out like a sewing machine, up and down. If you push in and put any bend on any needle they will break. Any needle will break they are thin so they don't make big holes in your work. Used properly they last a long time. I hope this helps beginners who are struggling with technique.

A game changer - super bulky yarns don’t weave in very smoothly (at least mine don’t). With the felting tool, I can maintain a smooth weave when adding in new yarn.

These needles fit into my three felting tools by Clover. One is loaded with fine needles, one with heavy, and the multi-punch has whatever I need at the time, in addition I have one needle I use without a tool for when I need it. I have only one issue with the refills. All Clover needles come in packages of 5 needles. I need a larger supply as I break a lot of them. Clover, please sell larger packages, I'll get better someday, but not if I spend my life searching for yet another pack of needles.

I broke a couple of needles on my sisters felting tool that I’d borrowed and wanted to return it in good condition. It was my first time needle felting, and I didn’t quite have the hang of it. Luckily, I was able to order this refill and finish my project before returning the tool to her as good as new! Changing the needles was easy, just be careful not to stick yourself.I had worried about the size of the needle, since there’s a few listings but they all seem to be the same and these worked fine.

I don't understand if the product device takes four needles, why they didn't make this an eight pack?
