I paired this bridge with the Wilkinson compensated saddles. Installation was a breeze but your guitar will definitely need a full setup afterward. I saw plenty of reviews that confirmed this bridge fits on the newer Player series but not any that confirmed that it fits the older MIM Standard Telecasters - I can confirm that it indeed fits my 2018 MIM Standard Tele perfectly.One thing that doesn't come through in the pics on the Amazon listing is that the area of the bridge between the pickup and the saddles has a somewhat rough texture and isn't perfectly reflective like the rest of the bridge. That doesn't matter to me at all, I just thought it's worth mentioning because it was somewhat unexpected.

I upgraded from a Squier tele bridge plate to this Fender plate. I took some 320 grit sand paper and lightly smoothed out the edges around the pickup and screw holes. This plate seems to ground better than the thick chrome plating of the Squier plate. I have zero hum while not touching the guitar.

This vintage tele bridge is as expected for an original Fender replacement part. However, I don't appreciate how Amazon lets you buy a new product and ships you an open package without any Fender branding. Mine was in fine condition but was obviously a return as the clear bag had been re-stapled multiple times. Shame on Amazon, I'll go directly through StewMac or Reverb next time...

Drop in replacement for MIM Player Series Tele. No issues whatsoever. I installed original style saddles. Nice sound and classic look.

It is funny to read the other reviews about quality control. They should complain to Leo Fender because this bridge looks the same how he designed it. Not the whole bridge is chromed because some parts of it should not be visible the original bridge had a cover and the part under the cover was not chromed. It is a great bridge. Fender is putting the same bridge on the high end models.

got one for my Squier Classic Vibe 50s tele and it fit perfectly. it arrived to me in perfect condition with all the chrome being nice and shiny. i highly recommend this. was super easy to install and looks killer!
