Tall post tuners are used for the wound strings and shorter post tuners are used for the plain strings. Staggered tuners increase the break angle over the nut and improve tuning stability. Used on many modern Fender electric guitars including: American Ultra, Elite, Deluxe as well as the Player Plus series.

I’m normally a Sperzel locking tuners guy myself but because they’re sometimes hard to find in the wild I decided on these Fender ones for my Jazzmaster Build, they have an amazing quality and feel to them, they lock everything up nice and tight, and are easy to use, as for the instillation process it’s a bit more tricky as you’ll need to drill 2 small holes for the pins to fit, I use a rubber mallet to lightly tap the back of the tuner to indent the wood and than drill the holes for them, they also fit my StewMac Mighty Mite Stratocaster neck!

I always replace standard tuners with locking because of the tuning stability and short amount of time it takes to change strings. I purchased this set in gold for my 2018 Fender Ltd Ed US Pro Strat and they were a direct drop in replacement, no drilling, boring or alteration necessary. Literally took 5 minutes to replace the tuners and strings, perfectly matching the stock gold hardware. The only discernible difference between the pro and elite strat models other than color choices are these tuners, compound neck radius and the noiseless pickups. Very satisfied with this purchase!

These tuning machines arrived in a bag, 5 out of 6 of them were out of the cardboard mount and floating around banging into each other. The Fender hang card was nowhere to be found; definitely looks like they were returned and then bagged up and sent to meThe good news is that they seemed to be completely undamaged, and since the price was literally half what you pay on the Fender site, I’m happy.The tuners themselves are excellent, as expected. I’ve tried cheaper Guyker tuning machines before and they just don’t do it. Stick to the big names and you’ll be happy!

I have to said that i bought this pegs knowning that if they wouldn t fit or i would not like it i could have sent it back but instead i really appreciate them, i had to make different hole to fit my ibanez but it is worthy cause it improved the tuning massively.i am gonna keep it and like it!
