Unless you're looking for a jack plate in a finish that Fender doesn't offer, I see very little reason to stray from the Fender brand for parts like this. You know it's going to fit if your holes are already drilled, and if they're not, you know that this plate will hold up just as it has on millions of guitars produced by Fender.

It has the same finish as what you find in any better jack ferrule of this type, thickness is the same, it isn't thin and warped like a cheap one can be, but the finish could be better where the jack mounts to it, but I have never seen one that is finished right inside, not a deal breaker by any means, I'd by this one again and probably will.

Gotta say, this little Fender part is beautiful! Perfect chrome, very nice curves and edges, and even the back is pretty shiny with no blotches. And even though it's a Fender part, it comes with screws AND washer and in their own little protective bag. Nice solid weight too. I know I may sound a little over excited for a part that costs less than $10, but I love high quality, especially where you don't expect it. And this is as good as it gets.
