The description suggests universal fitment of Jackson King V guitars, however my 7 string KVX7 does not fit. It is frustrating as the body fits, if is just the headstock which is a little too long. I decided to keep the case as it does fit an old Kramer V I have had in a gig bag for years. 5 stars for quality.

After owning plenty of pointy shaped guitars it is hard to come by a case that form fits the body while giving adequate protection. I love the ergonomic design of this aspect and the shape let's you know exactly what kind of guitar you will pull out. Very smooth exterior, light weight, plush soft interior that hugs the shape of a king v and can accommodate other Vs and different era Jacksons with the headstock room and wing space. Very happy with the case, although I feel it is a little pricey for a case is has the Jackson name on it and will last the length of the life of the guitar. My King V is from the late 90s era and it fit like a glove.

After hours of searching on the internet it became apparent the only options for my Jackson RR5 were this case, a Coffin case, or to make my own. Since the price for the coffin case was roughly the same as the Jackson case, and I don't have a wood shop, this beast was my only choice. I say beast due to the mammoth proportions of this case, both in size and weight. The exterior is high-grade ABS plastic and seems to be quite crush-resistant (not that I tested its limitations), and the interior is nicely finished in a material that cannot possibly scratch the guitar's finish. That said, this case is designed to fit the RR series and the King V series which means it does not pefectly fit the RR5. The tight fit on the horns raises concerns of side-loading the body, conceivably holding the thru-neck glue seam under tension. To combat that possibility, I simply place the guitar in the case only when neccesary, otherwise it lives on a wall hook.TLDR: great case, use only when you must.

I needed this for a Jackson RX10D Rhoads. It fit perfectly and being made by SKB certainly made me feel better about it. It costs a bit more than some others, but is worth it. I couldn't trust my Rhoads to a plywood case with felt over it! This even has the TSA locks so it can fly with you if need be, and is certainly rugged enough to take a beating. Once you get used to the shape, it actually grows on you. Looks aside, I'll definitely buy this again for my other V shaped axes as the protection it provides more than makes up for it's bizarre look. Love it...do yourself a favor and get this.

Arrived damaged by shipping with bent aluminum edging and couldn’t close without adjusting and clamping..Didn’t want to go through all of the time and the additional waiting and the hassle of a return so I just repaired it myself and added an extra TSA latch and works fine now…Other than that arriving damaged the case is absolutely perfect on the inside and after I repaired the damage, it is cosmetically perfect on the outside…âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Purchased this because it says it is a multi-fit case. It was way too small. I went to return (Prime member) and the original shipper is going to deduct $57 from my total for their shipping. Absolutely not. I will never purchase again from Sweetwater through Amazon. 0 Stars - Do Not Recommend.

Top Qualität wie immer bei diesen Arten von Koffern, leider passt er nicht 100% bei meiner Christian Andreu Rhoads Signature, aber man bekommt sie rein, ist halt extra kuschelig drin.Das liegt aber glaub ich daran, dass der obere Spitz noch etwas länger ist als bei normalen Rhoads.Wird der Gitarre aber nichts machen und die Polsterung innen ist stabil genug, um sie ein bisschen die richtige Form zu dehnen!

This is a true flight case that can take punishment !I wouldn’t recommend it but I’d bet you could drive a truck over it and your precious Jackson would not be hurt! One thing I did notice , the hinges are kind of small and flimsy , I wish they were a little better quality , but as long as you don’t bang it around when it’s open , it’ll be fine! ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Over the moon with my case. Fits my Jackson Pro King V like a glove. Spacious compartment for strap, etc. Really well made and picked it up for £40 cheaper than anywhere else. Anyone in the market for a case, look no further.
