I mainly use my old guitar for mariachi practice, the strings fit well in my old acoustic guitar and the sound for this specific nylon string is amazing. Once they’re properly tuned there’s no need to be tuned so often.

The Fender Nylon Acoustic Strings, 130 Clear/Silver, Ball End .028-.043, were purchased during October of 2023 for $12.82 plus tax. They are now avaialable for $12.99 (November 22, 2024).As a complete novice with any guitar technology, I can only comment on my currrent experience with these strings...there is no comparison avaialble to any other experience.A few months earlier, I purchased an Ashthorpe Full-Size Left-Handed Cutaway Thinline Acoustic-Electric Guitar Package...also from AMAZON, to teach myself the Flamenco Guitar Technique. Upon doing research on some of the fundamentals of the technique, and tradition, I recognized that it would be advantageous to replace the metal strings, that came with the guitar, with nylon strings...for a more authentic sound.In addition, making the replacement would also give me some practice in some of the routine maintenance of owning a guitar. It was rather exciting to be doing this as the decision to obtain the guitar was a somewhat tedious process...especially in light of the plethora of guitar choices avaialable for a mysriad of different styles, techniques, and traditions.After the requisite tool kit had been acquired, the process of replacing the strings was rather straight forward. Of course, with videos featured on YOUTUBE, the process was reduced to a very simple set of steps. The process was made even more convenient by the use of the ball end strings rather than the tie end strings. It was important to take time and enjoy the process in order to complete the replacement without any undue impedances.There is no comparison between the sound of the nylon strings compared to the metal ones. I am thoroughly elated at the choice of these strings to augment my effort to learn the Flamenco Guitar in the traditonal technique. I will continue to purchase these Fender Nylon Guitar Strings as long as they suit my objective.

I only play occasionally and am not all that good.These strings are easy on my fingertips and produce a mello sound. They seem to stay in tune and last forever!

Tying the strings to the bridge can be done a coup of ways. One method for the wrapped strings, another for the plain nylon strings. YouTube has good videos to guide you.I installed these on an old Gianni classical guitar and did not want to invest a lot of money on a 70s guitar that I play now and then. Remember these strings will need stretching, retuning, stretching, retuning several times.For the price these are good strings for the casual player.They sound fine to my ear. I'm still breaking them in after a week, but I was more concerned about replacing the dirty, corroded strings I had put on some years back.

Je suis passé de cordes acier à ces cordes sur une vieille guitare 3/4 de mon enfance . Grâce aux embouts j'ai pu les fixer sur cette guitare antique et je dois dire que le résultat me surprend . Maintenant il faut prendre du temps pour les accorder et le bon accordage n'arrive qu'après plusieurs jours . Je possède maintenant deux guitares sur lesquelles je peux m'entrainer .
