Replacing the handle on my '76 Fender Twin was a breeze with this authentic USA-made part.If you're not sure if this is the right replacement part for your amp model, the critical dimension to check is the distance between the mounting holes, which is about 7-3/4". Anything greater will make it difficult to get your hand under the strap to pull it up, and anything less will cause the strap to bulge rather than lay flat when not in use. The strap has a slotted hole at each end that provides about an inch of slack for lifting when installed correctly.Also, if you're careful not to use excessive downward force when removing the old handle's bolts, the existing spiked nuts in the top of the cabinet will likely remain in place and can be reused. In my case, the new bolts fit the existing nuts perfectly and that saved a lot of time. Otherwise, I would have had to remove the chassis straps and take out the heavy amplifier section to get into the cabinet to replace those nuts.

These are familiar, and a direct replacement.Except the screws are too short!The first thing I noticed, was the poor plating.It may be QC, I hope so.the rubber looks and feels good.The metal insert is rusty, and thinner than I remember.Works as intended.
