Looks really nice, far better than the cheap one that came with my kit. That one came scratched up and the finish was low quality, but this one makes me happy. I can't wait to get the guitar together!

Unlike the one I ordered from KAISH, this one fits. Don't bother trying to save a couple of dollars on a knockoff, get the right part for the job.

What can i say about this? It comes in a Fender bag and is the same thing that comes on Fender guitars. For tinkerers like me who like to mess around with things "under the hood" it is convenient to have different control assemblies that can be simply dropped in with a minimum amount of soldering. This way I have the stock control plate on a shelf while I try out Alpha pots or Bourns pots to compare with the CTS, different tone cap values and different tone cap types, as well as a secret push-pull series/parallel switch on one of the pots, or the "reversed" arrangement with the switch on the bottom rather than the top. And then I can always go back to stock.I haven't worked on too many Squiers, but the ones that I have worked on are *slightly* different, and accommodate metric screws on metric switches. If you have a Squier and want to upgrade the electronics, getting this is a lot easier than putting the Squier plate on a drill press and carefully widening the holes to accommodate American sized parts (take it from me, someone who's done exactly that).

Replacement for Fender control plate or in my case upgraded configuration to hold higher end electronics in my Telecaster knock offs. I have purchased two of these I needed to put higher end electronics in my Telecaster style guitars. They did the job. I used some prewired solderless parts that had 1/4 inch solid shafts on the pots. They also required Fender control plates because of the location of the holes. They were on a circuit board. Great upgrade both guitars sound more like the real deal now.

I got this to replace a Squier Tele plate, because I want to add a coiltap switch between the pots, and with this plate the holes are spaced further apart than on the Squier plate. , leaving plenty of room for another switch or even another knob. exactly what I was looking for.Nice quality nice finish Genuine Fender part.

Bought this to replace a badly scratched plate on a Squier Telecaster Guitar. Sorry I did not checked the thickness of this part , it looks original for the model .

Not much to say really... attach switch and pots’ to control plate and affix to guitar, it does the job... better quality than cheaper versions.
