I have a friend who has built several guitars. I bought these for my tele project and hammered them in myself at home, clipped them and filed them. When he saw my neck to help me level it, he was highly impressed at the job I did. Not only that they were already radius'd, but they were very close to level already. Something you should know if you're new at fretting a guitar, they're cut for the lowest fret on the neck (wide) so you have to trim them. You should use a soft rubber mallet to install and a shot bag or rifle rest to cradle the neck. Don't hammer it with your head stock supporting the neck.

Frets wire came in flawless no scratches of any kind and fit my 1987-89 Epiphone by Gibson S-900 really very well. Granted most of these guitars take the medium or jumbo fret wire with the original Epiphone Bennder Bridge, intonation was something that could be a bothersome problem to achieve. Although this guitar can take two other bridges such as; • Schaller Floyd Rose and the • Steinberger KB.Over all I am happy with and for the price you can't beat it either.

Did a refret for the first time with them on a neck that was totally unusable and now it plays very nicely. I am not a pro at guitar repair, but I did a lot of youtubing, and browsing forums and learned the basics and also ways to do things without spending a fortune on tools. The frets themselves are of good quality and having them pre cut and pre radiused was a big help.

Worked well, I bought this because I only needed a small quantity but don't buy into the name. Frets are frets and fender doesn't run a metal forge. You can get more efficient use out of sticks or rolls of frets as they don't force you to waste like these do. Also, think twice before buying this vintage, THIN gauge. I did it for someone who wanted to throw their worn strat back another couple decades, for which it did a great job

I found a standard coping saw cuts just a fine groove. And then I used super glue to lock it in. Little filing and sanding and its good. It is a soft metal easy to work with. Not like other wire I have used that is a hardened steel.

These fret's were perfect for my squite strat. They fit great, fileing takes a little time, but that's to be expected.Great fret's thogh.

OK, there's nothing wrong with these fret wires. But I do feel the need to let people know that if you're NOT a professional and for some reason get it into your head that just because you've installed locking tuners on your guitar and watched a bunch of youtube videos you're now thinking to yourself "Yeah I can replace the three worn out frets on this thing," that I hope you're doing it on a guitar you don't mind wrecking.I got it done, and from a distance you can't even tell the difference, but it is NOT an easy or simple tasks. If you don't have a fret press SPECIFICALLY MADE to get frets into the fingerboard, getting them in is NOT going to be easy (I improvised one out of a vice-grip, some rubber strips and a bunch of foam). If you're not a VERY handy person who has done this kind of thing before, and you care about your guitar, have a professional do this.
