This goes on like an apron and has a very roomy and comfortable pouch. I got this for our small kitten, who likes to be in it when he's tired, but when he's wide awake he climbs out of it easily. I wouldn't recommend using it outdoors for a cat since they can escape. But it's nice to have for when our kitten is tired and you want to be able to move around the house rather than be trapped in one spot with a napping kitten on your lap. Now the trick is to put it on before the kitten falls asleep! I don't think you'll win any style points for wearing this, but at least it's comfortable, and I found it fit me well (I'm average height/weight).

First off - our ferrets LOVE it.I had been looking for a cat-carrier sweatshirt for a few months now, but all of the ones I could find were "womens/unisex" sizes and way too small for me (I take a mens 3XL shirt/sweatshirt).This looked like a better alternative, and mostly, it is.The pouch is big and roomy.Our ferrets love it.But - for a person who is 6'2 and wears a size 3xl for a reason - its not comfortable.If it were longer, and more adjustable -- maybe making the top horizontal strap also adjustable via velcro, and making the lower horizonal strap sections longer to allow it to fit wider bodies - it would be perfect.Lastly -- part of the description and images recommends using this to "take your pet on outdoor walks, outings, and weekend adventures" -- if you have ferrets this may be a fundamentally bad idea. My local social media feed is constantly full of either missing ferrets or ferrets (luckily) found wandering outside -- most domestic ferrets will not live a few days out in the wild, quickly starving or succumbing to predators. I know my ferrets can get out of this pouch pretty easily if they want to.
