I have some leather guitar straps I love, but the strap-button holes have gotten worn and come off the strap-button. Read in a Facebook group that these were a great way to keep those older straps in service. I put the strap on, and then work the silicone gasket over the strap-button, and it keeps the strap from common off. Works like a charm!

I have several Flip Top lass Bottles I use for home made syrups. They are old, perhaps 40 years, and the original rubber gaskets have started to deteriorate . The Silicone Gaskets are the perfect replacements as they hold up better in extreme temperature and don't dry out over time.I use a boiling water batch to vacuum pack the syrup and the silicone does a great job of sealing the vacuum.Note the small crack in the original rubber gasket in the photo. It dried out over time and has started to deteriorate, compromising the ability to maintain a vacuum seal.

We are always losing the stoppers in the dish pit. It’s nice we can easily replace them.

These bottle swing top gaskets don’t do much except work. No high tech here but keeps liquid in and air out. Just what it was made to do. Gasket material is soft yet strong. Don’t know if I will ever have to buy these again because they will last forever.
