I can't believe how good this guitar is. Took it out of the box, tuned it and started playing. After the strings settled (and probably the neck), I've had no tuning issues at all. The intonation was pretty much spot on. I thought I was going to be doing a lot of work on the frets, but no. They are excellent. No buzz at all, and the edges are absolutely smooth. Tuners seem solid. They are not the greatest, but they are definitely not junk. The action is a little high, but not much. Easy adjustment. Although I will change the pickups to suit me, they are pretty decent. And I'm not getting any annoying hum. This guitar is a great value. Fesley put some time into it and it shows. I'll be looking at some of their other guitars.

I got this guitar because of all the good reviews and as a guitar teacher, people ask me all the time what is a good beginner guitar. After running this through many hours of playing through various amps and effects........ this is the best guitar. If you want a good practice guitar or if you are looking for something for someone looking to begin playing, this is it.Most sub 500.00 guitars are actually hard to play. The action is high, the frets rough, the fret board is rough. Not this baby. It is much better than any budget guitar I have ever played. The action is fairly low. The guitar is in tune at the 12th fret. It feels smooth and comfortable. I play rock and metal and it held up with no issues. The cleans are crisp and nice.Again, I highly recommend this guitar. Not just for beginners, but for anyone looking for a decent guitar that will not break the bank. This is a steal at this price.

I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and I’ve had many guitars over the years. From high end Gibson’s and Fenders. I must say my expectations were very low as I just wanted a toss around guitar to mod. I was pleasantly surprised to how great the fit and finish is on this guitar. Right out of the box the set up was pretty spot on for my liking. I adjusted the pickups a bit, tuned it and Man! This thing sounds and plays amazing! The neck is smooth and comfortable with no fret sprout at all. The tuners are smooth and tight the pickups sound awesome in every position. If you are looking for an extremely affordable great quality metal guitar I highly recommend buying this one.

I watched a lot of YouTube reviews that said how good the guitar was for the price and I’ve got to say Fesley did not disappoint. The only thing I had to do to the guitar was make a small truss rod adjustment to take care of a slight fret buzz. After that the guitar played great it sounds great and the fit and finish is great. The only thing I could complain about is the fret ends on mine were a little sharp. The other thing I could complain about is on Amazon. They put the guitar box that the guitar comes in, in one of their boxes and that box was big enough to put 2 or 3 guitars in and they put some paper in the box to take up the extra space and the box wasn’t even marked fragile. I have cameras at my house and seen the delivery person drop it on the porch rather hard. Had the guitar been oriented with the headstock down it might have broke. Fortunately it wasn’t. As far as guitar goes I would definitely recommend it. So if your on the fence about purchasing this guitar, just do it you won’t regret it

The finish overall does have some issues the paint is not sanded evenly but it’s okayThe finish quality was really rough like someone just spot sanded and passed it offSome of the finish sanding of the body shape is also uneven the picture does not justice but it does have a solid bump in the middle of the body that is higher on one side than the other of it the colors are great i like the pattern the sound quality wasn’t my cup of tea so I swapped out pickups but the electronics and tuners overall Functionality are greatBut the body sanding on the shape is rough and the finish could use a little bit more TLCAnd the cable that came with the guitar is no good the 1/4 jack is also bent ever so slightly so I can’t plug it in on one sideThe gig bag is decentI’m kinda bummed that with the finish issues and body sanding issues to flat as well as the rough and unsanded back of the neck how did QC let it pass

Surprisingly nice to play and decent quality all around, setup well out of the box, just needed to tune strings up a bit and ready to play. Pickups also sound very good considering entry level guitar. Tuners hold tune pretty well as well. Frets nicely finished, a few barely detectable flaws in the paint finish, the plastics on back of body have a bit of rough edges but nothing too bad. Lots of accessories of decent quality included. Overall, for the price (especially on sale!) this is the most value I have experienced in an electric guitar purchase.

The quality is really great for the price of this guitar. The build is really well done. Came with a factory set up right out of the box. Needed to be tuned back up but wasn't far off. The intonation was right on. The action hight was not bad for a beginner. No fret buzz or dead frets. There were a couple of frets with light fret bite. A little polishing and it's gone. All in all one of the best starter/intermediate guitars I've come across. The price can not be beat. Sounds great. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this guitar because I love music in general but more specifically metal and wanted to learn an instrument. I am therefore a total newbie in the world of electric guitar playing. I was going to buy cheap in case I wouldn't keep at it. I still wanted to buy the best I could find at a decent price range. The other brands I was looking at with similar configuration were Donner and Leo Jaymz. Why did I choose this one ? Reviews. I checked as many reviews as I could from experienced guitarists and this model came on top consistently. Some reviewers mentioned the company stood behind their products and I can vouch for that as they contacted me not long after the purchase to ask me how my purchase went and how I liked the guitar. Who does that anymore ? Fesley did. What is more surprising is that they even do it for entry level guitars like this one. So how is the guitar ? To me it looks awesome. It feels good too. It was fairly easy to tune for a newbie and I think it sounds awesome in a Fender Champion II 25 amplifier. It should sound better as I learn to play of course. It comes with just about everything a newbie needs to start playing except the amplifier. It has a decent cable for hookup, a strap, 3 picks, a sanding block (not sure what it does) and a case that looks very nice with quality fabric and just enough padding to protect it when it is shipped. The guitar is relatively light and looks so much better in person than what can be seen online. If there is one thing that they could make better at this price point it's the instruction manual which is just about useless for a newbie. They talk about adjusting the truss rod and changing the strings ! No mention as to why there are 2 volume controls or what the 3 way switch does. Remember this is a guitar aimed at beginners. Give us useful information please. Sure I managed to learn a few things about this particular model online but honestly the manual is abysmal and should be promptly revised. I can't complain too much as this seems to be a trend now. The manual for my Fender amplifier is not much better. Another thing of note for some: Get a variety pack of Dunlop picks to try out while you learn. The Fesley picks provided are OK but on the very stiff side. If you've got this far, ignore my last observation about the manual and get this guitar if you are a beginner that wants to learn on something that is of very decent quality and looks absolutely stunning. I think I got a lot of bang for the buck here (it was on special at $200 CAD)

Dec 1 2024Unboxed it today and tuned it up...stock strings kaka poo poo. Changed them and much improvement.I have done nothing for set up, other than strings . I have been lusting the Esp ltd ec-1000 for years but not willing to part with the cash. So this is my alternative at $1200 less cash. Now it does not compare in quality, however, was not expecting it to. However, this guitar is way over it's bang for the buck. Neck is smooth and comfortable, tuners are ok. Flawless finish and very minimal flaws on fret board. No fret sprout, neck is straight as an arrow. IMO I found pickups a tad muddy with heavy distortion. (Not a deal breaker). It sings sweetly with the same setting lead playing. Like the Esp. it has a body contour making it very comforable...no digging into the rib cage as LP tend to do to me. Guitar looks really sweet, and headstock is cool too...classy! With a guitar in this price range, if it comes with a gig bag they are usually pretty crappy and thin. The included gig bag is actually very nice and offers some protectionUpdate a review later when I discover how it like to be playedDec 4 2024 Second Impression....WOW WOW!Let out the truss rod about a 1/4 turn and lowered the bridge about a 1/2 turn ( low E) and the action is so buttery smooth. Not fet buzz to be found...ooo I like!Fesley reached out with a customer service follow up email ( unheard of) to see how I am liking it and for suggestions. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside..LOL. Now I feel bad that I poo pooed on their strings (comment). But then most guitars over the years get new strings after purchase (personal preference)For a $205 Canadian the pickups are good -+. Are they great, in my humble opinion...nope. But hey ONLY $205. How does this thing get built for that?? Not complaining...Update...tuners are growing on me and I like them...TTYL
