“Fessary Floral Foam Blocks 5.5x3.1x1.7 Inch Dried and Wet Flower Foam for Floral Arrangement Supplies,Green Foam Bricks Floral for DIY Crafts Weddings 4 Packâ€We recently purchased a new planter to place on our driveway. Since the location is such a hassle to get to with a watering hose, we decided to go with artificial plants to use in the planter.We started with a really great 4 foot artificial cedar tree that we purchased here on Amazon. We really like the look of it, but we felt that it needed some color.So we ordered some artificial small red flowers with variegated green shaded monkey grass so we could place them around the base of the cedar tree. But in order to do this, we needed some good solid foam blocks to mount the flowers into.These foam blocks worked out perfectly. I had to trim the foam blocks a bit to get a nice customized fit within our planter. I sliced through the foam blocks easily with an old hacksaw blade. A kitchen knife would have worked just as easily.So far, this set up has worked very well outdoors. If I have any problems in the future (if it’s affected long-term by weather) I’ll be sure to update this review.

I was honestly disappointed to get these floral foam blocks and see how poor of quality they are. They have big cuts, gashes, imprints, etc. and are not square around the edges as pictured. Because of all these flaws, they break apart and crumble easily. You could also get better quality floral foam from a big box or craft store for a lower price. For all of these reasons, unfortunately I cannot recommend this product.

I recently ordered three floral foam blocks, and while they turned out to be a bit smaller than I anticipated, this was entirely my oversight for not double-checking the listed dimensions. Despite their smaller size, these blocks worked perfectly for my needs. To address the size discrepancy, I simply placed the foam blocks on top of some bricks in my potted area, which effectively compensated for the smaller size. The foam held the stems securely and performed admirably. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product and its functionality.

I am doing a project with the foam blocks, and these are great to use. I am using mine as a floral decoration display for an event that is coming up. These are easy to cut and use on any surface or design. They are a good deal for the price.
