Festool Beech Tenon's are made from all-natural, solid hardwood for strength and stability. The Beech Tenon serves as a true floating Tenon in mortise and Tenon applications such as furniture, cabinetmaking, casing and frame work. The flat, elongated design will not rotate, ensuring perfect alignment for both edge and face gluing. Suitable for both plywood and solid wood applications, the dense beech Tenon will not expand or telegraph through material, leaving you with clean, flat, and consistent surfaces. The Domino Tenon is embossed with glue pockets, and is approximately 2mm shorter than nominal length, allowing space in the mortise for glue. Tenon's come in removable plastic bins. Assortment includes 5 Cutters, Domino Assortment Systainer, and 1060 Tenon's. Tenon assortment: 4 x 20mm (450), 5 x 30mm (225); 6 x 40mm (150); 8 x 40mm (100); 8 x 50mm (75); 10 x 50mm (60). Cutter assortment: D4mm (1), D5mm (1); D6mm (1); D8mm (1); D10mm (1).

Epeensive on the front end but for a quality case, a full set of cutters, and lots of Domino Tenons this makes a lot of sense if you intend to use your Festool a lot.

Do the math on buying the dominoes and bits separately and this makes sense. Having them in a Systainer is very convenient. Festool for the win!

This kit gives you everything you need to do almost any project with the Domino 500. It's a great way to organize all of the Dominos and give you a good idea of how many you have left. Although it's an expensive upfront cost, it is cheaper than pricing out all of the different sizes of Dominos individually.

Festool is Apple in the tools world and this package is a must for me. Without it, my newly bought Domino 500 would not be too useful. It comes with additional bits and all assorted tenons for those bits. I was able to build several pieces of furniture right away. Love it

This sustainer contains additional bits and 8 sizes of domino's. You will need them if you are going to do lots of joints. pre made and they are imprinted with the size. Highlight with a pencil to see the size, Just like you did in second grade.

This is a good batch of dominos to start with, especially if you're not sure exactly how much you'll be using the machine and for what types of projects. For my type of work, I go through the larger dominos much faster, so I just replenish those as needed. It is really nice to have a variety of sizes on hand (and well organized). Obviously, it's expensive for what it is. I think once you get far enough into the Festool world, it's easier to realize that the upfront cost for some of these things don't make sense, but that the overall value you get from the system means you don't really have to care about that too much. Case in point is the purchase of a domino - I think many people are taken aback by the price for the seemingly limited functionality (I know I was). But it's just so easy, so useful, and SO fast, that the tool pays for itself in a couple of days of work. Occasionally, I have to fix furniture, and I can't tell you how many times a simple repair went from a 2 hour project down to 20 minutes.

Unless you are doing a specific project and you are only going to use one cutter and size of domino, you will eventually end up buying all of these things anyway. I read a review that said this, so I bought it at the same time as the domino and I'm glad I did that. Some people pointed out the high cost of this, but that's the deal with Festool. It costs a lot, but saves you time and is high quality. Every other brand of powertool that I own has had quality problems (Bosch, Dewalt, Rigid, etc), and not a single Festool has had an issue even though I use them about 10x more. The tools are satisfying to use, perform perfectly if you follow their instructions, and save me time. If I were a pro contractor, it would be a no-brainer to invest in these as they would pay off again and again. But even as a DIY-er, I choose festool products because I don't want to waste time, I enjoy using their products, and they help me produce better work.

Nice kit for the money. Yes it is expensive for a plastic case filled with some scrap wood pieces cut up into little ovals but the fact that you get all of the cutters included in the kit make it well worth the money. Buying each cutter separately would be pricey and for just a bit more you get dominos, systainer, and all of the cutters packaged nicely together. Will be purchasing this again after I pay off my mortgage of course

The dowels are essential, but the best thing about this product is that you get all the bits for the Festool Domino and a systainer 2 as well. If you have a DF500, this is essential.
