I purchased this book for the Hopscotch pattern, but when I saw Just Strips I had to make that. I make quilt tops for charity that only measure 40" x 40" so I was able to cut and sew this cute little piece the day I got the book. The quilt club will tie it on Wednesday and it will be ready to go with one of the layettes.

I have been quilting only a short time and have made several of fabric Cafes quilt patterns. They are excellent patterns for beginning quilters. The patterns are not very complicating, are easy to put together, and are a good size for practicing your quilting skills, and are a great size for gifts. Every quilter should have this collection of books in their sewing room.
