Works well for patching and reinforcing areas that need such. I used this to repair my truck headliner board where I used to have an overhead DVD player. I reinforced both sides of the board with a single layer and it was very effective. Strong, yet lightweight.I recommend this cloth roll. 😄

This worked good for a fiberglass patch project and needed more cloth.

The edges of this cloth strip are woven in such a way that there is no fraying of the material. When the cloth is cut, however, as with any type of fiberglass, there will be some fraying. To avoid fibers pulling away from the cloth when applying the resin I use fingernail polish across the ends. The polish dries very quickly and is an easy solution to keep the threads in place.

I thought 4 inch would be OK, but really needed the 2 inch for this project. I had to reattach a third leg on a large Terracotta flower pot. Having to cut down the middle was a PITA and caused a problem as the fibers separated on the cut sides. I was doing a wrap on the leg.Best to use single layer if possible...
