Fiberglass Molded Pit Grating 36' x 25.75', Gray

I've purchase a bunch of these to place between my gravel driveway and the front door. One more spot for grit to fall off shoes before coming inside the house.These are sturdy enough to put in a deck for snow to fall through.

This stuff was just what I needed. Very sturdy, very gritty no slip surface, can support a very heavy load. Like others said it is not 1.5” thick, it is 1.25”

The perfect space for a new heat pump was under a deck. Not enough air circulation. I bought this product, removed some decking, and lowered this into the space. The installer thought it was a great idea. It is very heavy duty.

36x25.75 size:Looks like it's well made, but be aware that while the listing says 1.5" thick, it isn't. Mine measures ~1 1/8-1 1/4" thick, which makes me worry a little bit about whether it will handle loads as well as I was expecting. The fact that no load rating is specified, nor is there a spec on whether you can place multiples adjacent to each other without supports under the join-lines, is also a little concerning.I now have the 1st one installed. The length is actually more like 36 1/4"; not a bad thing, unless you poured a concrete frame prior to receiving the grate. It does seem pretty strong with all four sides supported. My original plan was supports only on the ends, but I decided that caution made more sense than convenience.Bottom line is it seems to be a pretty good deal at the price, with (hopefully) no risk of deterioration as we might get from iron/steel.

Quick delivery. Seems indestructable.

My deck wraps around an egress window. I needed something strong enough for a least a kid to walk on, but still be light enough to lift off in an emergency. 2 of these fit the bill and matched my grey deck perfectly. I had to slightly cut both to size, and a circular saw cut it like butter, just don’t breathe the fiberglass dust or get it in your eyes. This holds me at 220lbs with very little flex. Super happy with the end result and value!

The description said 1.5" thick. That's incorrect. I suppose I'm still owed .25" of product.
