I’ve been using the FIIO BTR 17 on a daily basis since its arrival on January 21. I have it paired with the AFUL Performer 5, my only IEM, and have been very impressed with the quality of sound. The Bluetooth functionality is working flawlessly. The build quality is excellent and the battery life seems fairly decent, so no complaints there. I’ve used the BTR 17 with an M1 iPad Pro and the sound quality for exceeded my expectations and that was in the PC mode. I am not in a position to use the desktop mode as of yet. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

The product arrived brand new as described. However, the BTR17 did not increase the sound quality or volume level when connected to my B&O Beoplay H100 earphones with the included USB to 3.5 mm cable. I will not give FiiO anything less than 5 stars because the BTR17 is a premium device made with premium materials for a great price. I'd be surprised if any wireless DAC/AMP combo will be able to address my concerns with the Beoplay H100's.

I own both this unit (BTR 17) and the BTR7, and this is a massive upgrade. Not just the overall DAC and sound quality, but the usability and interface make it worth the upgrade. The addition of the dial/volume scroll makes navigating, changing tracks, and EQ 100 times better.As far as the sound quality goes, it's amazing. I have my HIFIMAN Mini Shangri-La connected to it and it sounds amazing. I've done multiple A-B test listening to the same track directly from vinyl vs through the BTR17 and it holds up surprisingly well.Vinyl is definitely clearer and more transparent, but the BTR17 adds a very enjoyable warmth and bassiness that is more enjoyable in a lot of cases.

Bit of a preamble. I'm not one to prefer Bluetooth, and in fact I usually don't. Speaker technology has advanced so that even $20 earbuds from the right brand can sound amazing out of the right source, but when you try to stuff a Bluetooth radio, micro controllers, a dac/amp, buttons/controls, battery in a package that fits in something the size of a gumball, things get rough. Bluetooth hissing that's usually hidden by cutting power to the amp when audio isn't playing, issues with the dac output being low resolution, you name it.In short, this device is amazing, because it solves all that. Good quality Bluetooth hardware in a pocketable form factor. You technically have a cable, but if you care how your music sounds this won't matter- it's not tethered to the source device after all. This outclasses every Bluetooth earbuds I've ever used even when paired with aforementioned $20 bargain buds from a good brand, and I've had the likes of Sony XM4 and others in that class. No ANC naturally, but certain IEMs or even over ears can easily work like plain old ear plugs and when the music starts the world disappears anyway.Battery life is quite good so far. Nonstop use for three hours on the LDAC codec and only down 80% on the first few runs. Will speak more on this as time goes on.Pair that kind of wireless performance with the ability to wire this in as a wired DAC(not to mention the microphone so you can take calls even on HD600s without needing to get a potentially problematic inline mic cable), and it's all around the perfect device to get Bluetooth conveniences on any headset, or even just to wire in and improve your laptop's sound output. I view it as a swiss army knife of portable audio, and as someone that can't buy most Bluetooth headsets within ending up unhappy, I fully recommend this. Regular Bluetooth headsets live and die by their batteries, but this can be permanently wired in as a USB DAC should its battery suffer the same fate.

Christmas came early for this 63 year old man and his lovely 29 year old Missus. I received a pair of HiFiMan Arya Stealth headphones and the BTR17, along with a nice Audiophile Ninja 7 foot balanced cable. I also purchased a shorter, cheaper cable but had to return it.This thing is a seriously excellent piece of kit, an enormous upgrade from the terrific BTR7. It has much more robust power output to begin with, along with a slew of additional features. I am just beginning to figure out the functions but can absolutely state that it sounds excellent. Robust and pristine. The clarity heard with the Arya and the rest of my headphones is mind boggling. Buy the damn thing, and you're welcome.

This works really well, I am not saying that they will make crappy earbuds sound better, but they are able to drive pretty much all my earbuds, and my Focal Elegia, and give me freedom from a wired attachment. The device is not tiny, its pretty large for a portable headphone amp. It makes up for it in features, and clear controls. It's battery life seems to be great, but I have not sat with it on for 8 hours, so I can't speak to it's claims. I do like it though and the blue color looks great, and the "leather" cover works as protection, to keep it from getting scratched up.

I hoped this DAC would bring a little extra detail to my music. I have RHA T20i earbuds and B&W PX7 S2 headphones.No noticable improvement in sound, detail, or soundstage to my ears. Bypassing the equalizer settings gave the best sound. All the preset for the equalizer made the sound muffled in one way or another.If your source isn't powerful enough to drive your headphones this might be an option but that wasn't an issue for me.

Very high sound quality. Powerful enough to drive in 600 Ohm headphones (if you don't want to listen too loudly to be fair, but still, it's 600 ohm). Adaptive Apt-x code, which I think can transmit lossless format. 0 issues.The only thing is that I wish the clip was solid and not soft, because with this clip you can only clip it to a belt. But, for example, with Fiio BTR15's plastic clip you can attach it to anything.

J'ai possédé les Soundcore Anker Liberty 3 Pro (son correct mais ont refusé de s'appairer à mon smartphone au bout d'un an , Cambridge Audio Melomania M100 (son correct mais ont cessé de fonctionner au bout d'un an et demi), Les Denon PerL Pro (très audiophile avec une très belle bosse au niveau des graves et la meilleure richesse au niveau sonore mais trop fragile) les Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 (un son quasiment au niveau des Denon). Et je suis passé au planaire: casque HIFIMAN Ananda Nano et aujourd'hui le Linsoul Hidizs MP45. Le tout est associé au DAC Ffio BTR 17 + Créative BT W6. Associé au BTR17, ce MP45 est une grosse claque sonore: Tout est pure et dynamique que ce soit au niveau des basses, des médiums et des aigus. Je suis très branché Musique Métal mais tout sonne de façon incroyable pour tous les styles. L'equalizer 10 bandes est magique: ne pas hésiter à utiliser le site autoeq.app pour affiner votre son

Gut klingendes Gerät. Der Bass ist stark. Ich mag keinen starken Bass. Für solche Fälle gibt es einen hervorragenden Equalizer. Der Klang des Gerätes ist klar und lebendig. Erinnert mich an Fiio m11 pro oder m11 plus.
