Just what I needed! Using a 275gal IBC for fuel farm. Needed longer suction tube for pump. Could I have saved some $$ by getting some 1" sch 40 pvc pipe & a slp x the adaptor? Yes. Would the cost of fuel/labor to go the ~100 mile (round trip) to the store to get the adaptor - that I didn't have in stock - be economically feasible? Probably not.Really wish it were made of metal, hope the pvc holds up - replaced metal suction tube that was too short for the IBC.Bottom line, the cost difference for me works.

It's pretty basic but when gluing the pieces together I was wondering if I should use a certain kind of PVC glue. There was no recommendation so I just used what I had. Hope it lasts.
