  • The film resist is a non-toxic water-based liquid that prevents the color from sticking when the glaze is applied to bisque or greenware, and it won't be absorbed. When the film resist agent dries, it becomes a thin film that can be easily removed, revealing the design or just unglazed parts. It can completely replace wax resist.
  • Fast drying time, natual drying time is 1 minute.
  • This latex resist is easily soluble or cleaned in water when it is in liquid form.
  • Notice:The brush should be cleaned quickly after using the Pasler latex resist. When the latex resist is dry, it cannot be cleaned. The latex resist has some unpleasant smell, please put on a mask to operate it.

Though it smells to high heaven, the color makes it easy to see and use, and the easy and smooth peelability of the product allows one to correct errors quickly by peeling and trying again.

This is a great resist option. It goes on super smooth and easy, peel off beautifully. Kind of ruins the brush though so I use cheap bulk brushes to put it on. enough for a lifetime.

This liquid latex works better than wax resist for this style of glazing I like to do. Simply paint your desired pattern on with a brush, let dry, glaze, and then once the glaze has dried remove the latex to reveal the pattern. So easy! The lines were so crisp, which was a problem I ran into with wax resist. The size of the bottle is huge and will last a long time. The only con is the smell, it’s quite strong, but not so bad that I would stop using the product. I’m glad that I purchased this.

I used a bottle to squirt the product onto my bisque piece because someone was kind enough to say don't use a brush. Now I would like to return the favour: You know it is ready to use when the product turns from pink to red. It sticks and easily removes. This little thing makes my painting so much easier. Expensive but great to use.

First, I'm not an expert at using latex resist. I usually use wax resist, but liked the idea I could peel this off so I didn't have to burn off the wax for some techniques. So far I've been a little disappointed, but I don't know if it's the latex or not. I used it over underglaze but when I peeled it off, it did take off some of the underglaze. This might be due to the thickness I put it on - thick, it is very strong! I used it on the bottoms of some bowls, but then when I put it too thin it was hard to peel off. There could be an in between with more practice. It is also possible it works better with other resist techniques. Either way, this latex was way cheaper than you can buy from ceramic supply. It's really stinky, that's for sure, so I would use some ventilation.

I really like the quality of this wax. I use it to resist glaze when I paint on mugs. So, I put two coats over the painted drawing, then dip in my glaze. If I let it dry completely, the glaze just runs away from the area it is applied to.

It protected the drawing on my mug so I could dip it in glaze, and it was easy to remove

Pros- Easy to Remove: Water-based formula makes it simple to peel off once dry. I use a set of sharp ended tweezers- Versatile: Suitable for application on bisque, greenware. Although, that's not just this brand but latex resist in generalCons- Limited Durability: It's water soluble so if you are doing complex layering, it might not work well- Drying Time: Takes time to dry fully before glazing, which may slow down your workflow.- Smell: This specific one has a very pungent smelling salt aroma. I'd recommend using a face mask if you are sensitive to smells- Dont Use a Brush: This is less about this brand and latex in general, use a slip trailer for non-detail related design.
