After the first time I used my decanter I decided there had to be a better way to wash it than with the regular sponge, and guess what? There is! If you own a decanter, you have to get one of these brushes. It's real easy to clean the decanter without running the risk of breaking it from trying to stick your hand down the neck. Easy to wash and stays fluffy after it's dry.

The item I received does not look like the picture. The item I received looks like a toilet brush. It is a gift so it has not been used yet and I am not sure how it will be able to bend get the whole decanter clean. I was expecting a cleaner that looked like the picture that was long and narrow that would bend around the edges with a pad all the way up to the handle. I do not like this one but do not have time to return for different one. The picture should be changed to adequately show the brush that is being sent.

The brush is mechanically well built (as far as I can tell, anyway -- only had it a few days). For certain, it did an amazing job cleaning a heavily-stained wine decanter -- that despite the unusual shape (kind of a doughnut with a spout). I only wish we'd bought this long ago.

I purchased this brush for several glass bottles we use for coffee and tea - they're very narrow at the top and about 13" tall, which makes cleaning them difficult. I'm able to work this brush into the bottles and it's just stiff enough to get some pressure along the bottom. It probably won't scrape off anything too heavy but it works very well for coffee and tea (and I'm assuming wine) film on the bottom of glass bottles.

First thing, the picture makes it look like its made of terry cloth or something similar. It’s actually more like Styrofoam. Yes, a brush made of Styrofoam. I don’t think you can actually use soap on the brush itself. It would not do any good. I’ve taken to putting a paper towel over it when I use it. The brush itself is not flexible and very hard to bend. Once it is in the decanter, you can’t really put it in any further and have the brush conform to the decanter. As a result, you cannot really use it to reach the hard places in the decanter. You have to guess at how to bend it, force it in, and then try to get any spots inside. This may be the worst thought out product I’ve ever seen. I’m not really sure what the maker was thinking as to how one would go about making use of it.

Bought this so that I could clean my bipap humidifier water container. It is easy to form to any configeration necessary to clean irregular items. It appears to be holding up nicely.

At first it was REALLY stiff and hard to unroll, but this is actually a benefit while cleaning. It is flexible enough to bend around the base, but stiff enough that I can scrub at the sides with it. No complaints.

Not what I was expecting. Cloth material very coarse and does not wipe up well in decanter. It leaves streaks. I only used it once and not really wanting to use it again. I don't think the product is too bad but maybe I had high expecations of it cleaning my decanter better than it does.
