The adaptor is well made and the finish is excellent. It fits my 45 year power craft lathe combination like the original. The set screw tightens as it should and doesn't un screw. After 2 weeks and several wood projects it is still working well.Would I purchase again. Yes I would but if it lasts as it appeared it will in and other 45 years it will still be functioning like it should.

I bought a cheap wood lathe on Amazon. (XtremepowerUS 1/2HP 4 Speed 40" inch Power Wood Turning Lathe (14" x 40") Benchtop Wood Lathe Adjustable Speed) This is a study hunk of metal but is is a loose fit for 10TPI. Maybe my lathe is not 100% accurate in it's size

I wasn’t confident I was buying the correct thing but it fits my old lathe my papaw gave me. I only had the centers that came with it and was limited on what I could turn. It is high quality and threads on perfectly. The adapter is not in the picture I took.

Fits on Shopsmith spindle about 1/4 inch. At that point the internal dimension is a few thousandth too small. Part is not machined correctly.

It's bigger than I expected, but didn't really think about it before hand. The only improvement would be a set screw, or some way to lock it on for reverse turning. Haven't used it in reverse yet though, so don't know if that's a problem.

Arrived earlier then expected which great. I put on my lathe the day it arrived and it fit perfectly. Just got a chance to actually use it today and it has a wobble. So now I'm going to have go to the trouble of returning it and find another supplier. Edit I didn't know the spacer I had needed to go on before the adapter. All is good now. Sorry for the previous bad review. I'm new at this.

Bought a cheap mini lathe to turn Christmas ornaments rather than pull my big lathe out of storage. Wasn't expecting an 1-1/4" spindle. All my regular lathe attachments are 1". 30 bucks solved that problem. Very happy to even find such an adapter, let alone at that price.
