I was preparing to press and roll a wrinkled wad of lace as other reviewers have had to. At least I knew in advance, right? But I am pleasantly suprised to find my new lace trim is tidily wound around a card. I suppose it could use a bit of steam, but its not absolutely necessary. Yay!The lace itself is as advertised. It is a very simple scalloped eyelet lace with a single daisy design. The raw edge is also scalloped but will be a simple thing to sew and gather as there is plenty of fabric for a seam allowance. There are a few loose strings around the embroidered edge but nothing thats a problem.The 'smoky white' color is perfect for my project which is primarily a warm-leaning white cotton lawn batiste. This lace is slightly looser and lighter than the lawn I am using (as you can see in the pics). Light weight enough to gather well.I think it will make a lovely simple ruffle for my project. And the price is very good for the amount you get, though of course, if you are gathering it, factor in how much extra you will need for your ruffle. I suspect that 15 yards will leave me with plenty of extra for future projects.

What a mess. This trim was cut uneven at the top. It was wadded into a ball for shipment. It was so wrinkled. Crazy! No pride in delivery.

this lace is beautiful and good quality but it is packaged horribly. it’s bundled into a tangled ball and it has to be ironed before using because of how wrinkly it is from its packaging

The quality is very poor it is the thinest cooton trim i have ever seen! Cheap!
