For any projects that need gold trim (and there are so many costumes that do) this is the way to go. I'm pretty sure the national fabric and craft chain charges almost $2 a yard for trim like this so this is a way better deal. The quality seems good, like with any trim the cut edge will unravel if you don't put some tape or glue on it before cutting but that's expected. It's a nice color and is easy to match to other types of trim for a coordinated look and with it arriving wrapped on a card as shown in the product photos it's easy to store. Definitely recommend.

This is an extremely yellow gold. It’s definitely good quality and you get a good amount, the color makes it look cheap. I didn’t open it to use it as I make high end custom costumes and this feels like decent quality but looks very cheap because of the color.

I was needing some gold gimp for a holiday project coming up and this was perfect. I really needed something VERY gold, and again, this is just the perfect thing. Very nicely made, not too cheap, and will do what it needs to do for my project. It is not the very expensive looking gimp that some have out there, but this one is not bad at all. Generous yardage for this price.
